This month the annual TED Conference, where the globe’s most dynamic thinkers share world changing ideas, returns to Oxford. Flux is proud to be a TED partner helping to program short films in between speaker presentations.

While we are excited to hear from a handful of people whose work we know and love like designer Stefan Sagmeister, X-ray photographer Nick Veasey, industrial designer Ross Lovegrove, what makes TED wonderful is the discovery of people (and their ideas) from a universe that you might not come across every day. Here are a few with the most colorful titles: Arctic swimmer Lewis Pugh, aquatic ape theorist Elaine Morgan, Underworld investigator Misha Glenny, dune architect Magnus Larsson and space jumper Steve Truglia.

We will be reporting on some of our favorite finds at TED. If you will be in Oxford for TED or want to meet up when we swing through London for a cup of… tea then please drop us an note.
