It’s an election year, which means filmmaker Bryan Boyce has plently of inspiration to make his incredibly awesome political mashup videos. Check out his new pro bono ad for John McCain above.
I programmed one of Bryan’s first films, “Special Report,” and still a personal favorite as part of RESFEST 2000. The film marries the deadpan facial antics of an all star roster of TV news anchors including Tom Brokaw, Dan Rather and Peter Jennings with sound clips from classic exploitation films.
