Clean Water is not that easy to get as most of us might think

It has been a while since I posted anything partially because we’ve had a jam packed summer and September as well. Then out of the blue, my country the Philippines, was struck with the worst typhoon it had seen in 42 years. Sadly, mother nature was on a roll hitting Vietnam next, then Laos then Cambodia and American Samoa.

Over the summer, I had the opportunity to attend the TED Conference in Oxford where I discovered an amazing invention – a water bottle that could filter the murkiest, filthiest water anywhere and transform it into clean safe drinking water.

In the aftermath of the Philippine Floods, I immediately got to work to spread awareness, promote fundraisers and sponsorships of this particularly important lifesaving device. With the help of a childhood classmate and dear friend Tish Valles, who is based in New York City, we have come up with the Clean Water Initiative.

By giving the disaster stricken areas a water filter bottle that delivers 4,000 liters per bottle, people don’t have to WAIT for clean water. They can take flood water, river water, even toilet water and filter it to clean out all the elements and be able to get clean water immediately. It is very expensive to ship water but having just one bottle can save many lives and they don’t have to travel far to get water. They can now get water from any source.

If you want to make a difference and save a life please

Bottles will be shipped via HISG the non-profit relief organization already working on the ground in the Philippines.

Whether it’s for the Philippines or other disaster-stricken areas, you can help.
