The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus is visionary director Terry Gilliam’s (Time Bandits, Brazil, Twelve Monkeys) latest masterpiece. It stars the late Heath Ledger in his final acting performance and features Johnny Depp, Jude Law, Colin Farrell and Christopher Plummer. The film is a fantastical morality tale, set in the present-day. It tells the story of Dr. Parnassus and his extraordinary ‘Imaginarium’, a travelling show where members of the audience get an irresistible opportunity to choose between light and joy or darkness and gloom.

LA-based Australians in Film is a non-profit, membership organization that supports and celebrates the work of Australian film and television makers. We welcome new members and you do not have to be Australian to join. In 2008 Australians in Film established the annual Heath Ledger Scholarship for emerging actors in honor of the late actor who was an ambassador of the group.
